The madrona wood came from a construction site, and the sandstone was recycled from a friend who had used it in a photo shoot. I titled this one ‘Fetish’ as the nature of its construction reminded me of a rattle, or a Shaman’s fetish, that would have been used in a ceremony. This piece holds real power for me.
